With two convenient locations in Helena (est. 2016) and East Helena (est. 2023), our team is here to help make sure you have protection in place to protect what matters most throughout life’s milestone moments. We're in the business of helping people. We just happen to offer insurance. During Joe's 15+ years with State Farm, he has emphasized providing a concierge customer service experience, we will help you create a plan that fits your needs and your budget. Our specialties include life insurance, auto insurance, home insurance, health insurance, as well as policies covering personal articles, boats, campers, ATV/UTVs, trailers, and renters’ insurance. We also pride ourselves in helping with folks relocating into the Helena area and all of Montana.

The Helena area is our home, it’s where we live, play, and get to experience life, so don’t expect to only see us in the office. Look for Joe and team out in the community at football games, fairs, parades, non-profit fundraising events, and more! We have several team members who regularly volunteer with local organizations. Joe currently sits on the Helena Area Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors as the Vice President, Green Meadow Country Club Board of Directors, as well as volunteers with non-profits such as the Montana Chapter of the Disabled American Veterans (DAV).

Since opening his doors at the Helena location in 2016, Joe has achieved high recognition within State Farm. Our agency is a multiple year qualifier for Ambassador Club, Honor Club, Chairman Circle, and Senior Vice President's Club. As such, we can offer our customers access to 24-hour customer service. We also provide complimentary Montana Public Notary services to all our customers.

Joe has also garnished local honors within the community and was awarded Helena's 20 Under 40 in 2020, the Helena Independent Record's Top Insurance Agent in 2022 and 2024, and the 2023 Helena Chamber of Commerce Business of the Year as well as the 2024 Board Member of the Year award.

Joe's State Farm career began in 2010 as a team member for Moorhead, Minnesota agent. As a team member, Joe discovered a passion for helping people and is a five-time inductee of the Minnesota Team Member Hall of Fame, awarded to team members who excel in protecting customers through life insurance. It was during this time that he developed his core values, which have been carried into the agency and impacts how we operate, develop our team, and take care of customers. Our core values include having a spirit of servanthood, doing the right thing, taking pride in being knowledgeable, operating as a team, and finding the joy in life.

In addition to leading the agencies, Joe is a husband, father of two sons, and enjoys playing with the family dog, a mini-Aussie named Scotch. Joe met his wife at Concordia College; she is a fifth-generation member of a farm and ranch family from Judith Basin. While at Concordia, he played football and graduated with a double Bachelor of Arts (BA) in sociology and communications. In his free time, Joe enjoys boating on Hauser Lake, searching for golf balls in the rough of local golf courses, and hanging out with friends watching the Vikings.
